Top Selling Two-Wheel Tractors
BCS 728 2-Wheel Tractor
Smallholders, orchard keepers, landscapers and domestic growers are all certain to be impressed by the BCS 728 Two-Wheel Tractor!
Flexible in use, the BCS 728 Two-Wheel Tractor features 180°-reversible handlebars, which facilitate the use of a range of both front- and rear-mounted attachments. A 3-speed transmission (3 forward and 3 reverse) lets you work at a speed most suitable for the task in hand – for example, you’ll likely want a slower pace for cultivating, and a faster pace for mowing.
With the high-spec BCS 728 Two-Wheel Tractor, there are no drive belts to snap or stretch – instead power from the engine is sent to the power take-off and wheels via a hardened, all-gear drive, which offers superior efficiency and hard-to-beat durability.
The BCS 728 Two-Wheel Tractor benefits from BCS’s patented, PowerSafe® clutch, which is hydraulically activated, not only for instant torque, but also for split-second stopping of the PTO and wheel drive when you release the handlebar mounted OPC lever. The PTO itself comprises three-claw connection, which is exceptionally robust, and ensures years of reliable service.
Further key features on the BCS 728 include sizeable, 203mm, agricultural-pattern tyres, which provide the sort of high-grip traction you’ll need when operating on tricky terrain, and in adverse weather conditions; and a parking brake for safety if you come to a halt on a hill or need to transport the unit in the back of a van.
There’s a choice of Honda engines for the BCS 728; the 4.8hp GP160, and the 5.8hp GX200, with former suitable for slightly less demanding workloads, and the latter perfect for more frequent, more intensive use.

BCS 740 2-Wheel Tractor
Combining serious power with compact dimensions and impressive versatility, the commercial-duty BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor is aimed squarely at allotment associations, landscape contractors, local authorities and country estates.
With the BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor, you get to choose the power source, be it the quiet, low-NOx, Honda GX390 petrol engine, or the ‘torquey’, fuel-efficient, Yanmar L100V diesel engine. Both units are available with either recoil or electric start.
Different implements, terrains and job-types require different ground speeds, so the BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor has been equipped with three forward gears and three reverse gears – there’s a suitable option for every situation.
A locking differential ensures successful operation whether you’re in a muddy field or on an icy pavement; brake-based steering – much like on tracked machines – confers the very best in manoeuvrability.
Making the BCS 740 Two-Wheel Tractor standout from its competitors is BCS’s unique, PowerSafe® clutch, which uses hydraulic power to achieve maximum torque upon engagement, and to ensure the wheels and power take-off are brought to an immediate stop the moment the OPC lever is released.
A rugged, all-gear, no-belt transmission ensures super-efficient power transfer with reduced maintenance and exceptional long-term reliability; a three-claw PTO attachment mechanism – the toughest in the business – means your implement of choice is locked into position in ultra-solid fashion.
Other desirable features include substantial, 254mm-diameter, agricultural-pattern pneumatic tyres, which enable a smooth run over rough ground; and a parking brake, which keeps the tractor firmly – and safely – in position when not in use.

BCS780HY 2-Wheel Tractor
BCS’s flagship two-wheel tractor, the hydrostatic 780HY has been designed and built to handle the sort of large-scale, heavy-duty cultivation, grass cutting and landscaping applications that would defeat a less well-equipped machine!
Setting it apart from the other machines in the range is its hydrostatic transmission. With hydro drives, there’s no need to stop to change the ground speed; instead, you’ll enjoy smooth, infinite-increment, on-the-move speed control, and will be able to select the most appropriate working pace for the task in hand with the utmost precision. A further advantage of hydrostatic is that the cutter head of your chosen implement never slows, so maximum performance is constantly maintained.
Running on deep-tread, agricultural tyres and incorporating a locking differential, the BCS 780HY petrol or diesel-powered Two-Wheel Tractor offers high-grip traction, and as such, will take tricky terrain and challenging weather conditions in its stride.
High and low ratios mean you can opt for either extra speed or greater pulling power; a parking brake makes the unit safely secure after work and during transport.
The adaptable BCS 780HY Two-Wheel Tractor boasts a multi-position adjustable handlebar, which can be height adjusted for comfort; offset to help you avoid treading on and compacting just-tilled earth; and reversed to facilitate the acceptance of different attachment types.
The attachment mechanism on the BCS 780HY comprises a three-pin claw that’s so strong, even the most hardened pro landscapers will be impressed.

BCS Snow Plough Implement
Fitment:
All Power Units
The snow plough is the fastest way of clearing snow. It is very safe to operate and simple to use, yet is able to move significant amounts of snow in a short space of time. With a working width of 100cm and a curved blade, it will easily clear snow up to 30cm deep.
The curved blade efficiently rolls the snow up and away from the blade and off to either side.
The plough can be angled through 5 positions - two left, two right, and straight ahead - allowing the angle of the blade to be adjusted to deal with deep snow.
The snow plough is supplied with saucer shaped skids at the rear of the plough as standard. These can be easily adjusted for working height by simply adding or removing spacers to raise or lower the height.
If better manoeuvrability is required, or the snow plough is being used on delicate ground, then the skids can be replaced by optional castor wheels if required.
There is also an optional soft blade kit available if the plough is to be used on sensitive surfaces.

Cut vegetation of any height or density up to 1” thick with the Laser® scythe cutter bar. It's ideal for managing wildflower meadows and cutting long grasses for haymaking.
The scythe has anti-clog serrated blades that will effortlessly cut through woody material up to 1" diameter, including brambles and even first year saplings. They also excel at cutting tall grass, bracken, wildflowers and more.
The Laser® scythe cutter bar comprises two blades. The top blade moves from side to side and is fitted with a number of serrated triangular teeth.
The scythe makes a single scissor-like cut at the base of the vegetation, leaving the material whole. This is what makes the scythe the best tool for cutting long grass for haymaking and for cutting wildflowers.
Because the cutter bar is located out at the front of the machine it can get into areas that other mowers can't, such as under fences, round the base of trees, at the edge of water, and so on.
The cutting height is easily increased or decreased from ¾" (2cm) to 3¼" (8cm) by adjusting the skids that are positioned on each side of the cutter bar.
They are also very economical to run as the power unit should never be on more than one-quarter throttle so fuel consumption is very low.
If the machine is being used on sloping banks then twin wheels or steel bank wheels are recommended to help improve traction and stability.

The brush is available in three widths, 80cm (32"), 100cm (40"), or 120cm (47") and is fitted with heavy duty nylon bristles which are very hard wearing.
The rear castor wheels assist with manoeuvrability and also allow for easy height adjustment - simply add or remove the spacers as required to make the brush higher or lower. The working angle is easily adjusted either left, right or straight ahead by selecting one of three holes.
Because the brush is PTO mounted, it will also pivot separately to the tractor to follow the contours of the ground.
The brush is made up of sections of wavy and straight brushes which means that the bristles can be replaced in sections. This is very cost effective as if one side wears more quickly then just an individual section can be changed.
This powered brush is the ideal tool for many different sweeping applications including leaves, moss, mud and more. It also excels as a snow brush, easily clearing snow up to 10cm deep to leave a clear, safe surface.
ARTIO BC65 Lawn Scarifier Implement

The BC65 is a powerful tool, designed to remove thatch and moss from every type of lawn. 48 Free swinging, sprung steel blades are not only extremely effective but also durable and reversible. This is a must have attachment for two wheel tractor owners who need to keep a lawn in first class condition.
This attachment easily removes thatch to encourage grass to grow thicker and healthier. It also helps grass receive better access to water and oxygen which aides in deeper root growth. With a working width of 65cm (25"), the front-mounted BC65 Lawn Scarifier is equipped with 48 free-swinging blades on three vertically rotating rods.
The blades are a "waisted" or "fish tail" shape for unbeatable performance and blade longevity, and are offset from each rod to encourage maximum coverage with each pass. The blades are also reversible to provide double the working life.
The unit has a front full-width roller to provide even scarifying and which is also used to easily adjust the blade depth. A swivel joint near the PTO connection has a "floating" feature which allows the lawn scarifier to follow the contours of the ground.
Other blade assemblies available include a fixed blade option for deeper scarification, and a spring rake option for lighter scarifying. The unique rotor design also enables the blade assemblies to be changed in minutes and without dismantling the drive system.

The Berta Flail Mower is available in two sizes and will clear the toughest vegetation with ease, cutting and mulching in a single pass.
The flail deck features heavy duty "Y" shaped free-swinging blades (28 on the 65cm model and 36 on the 85cm) which are fitted to a horizontal roller and arranged in a staggered, or overlapping, layout to provide coverage.
The flail mower works at a high cutting speed so the blades rotate fast to cut, mulch, and leave a fantastic finish.
The cutting height can be adjusted through 5 positions from 1cm (½") to 6cm (2½") allowing it to tackle all sorts of ground conditions and heights of vegetation.
Individually hinged front protection flaps and a wide open front help to ensure that material reaches the blades, whilst a full width steel roller at the rear of the mower helps to prevent unnecessary scalping of the ground.
The flail mower is very efficient and will cut vegetation faster and more effectively than a rotary or mulching mower, which has helped to make it our best selling grass cutter.

The Duplex Scythe will quickly cut vegetation of any height or density up to 2½cm (1”) thick and is ideal for managing large areas of wildflower meadows and grasses for haymaking.
The anti-clog serrated blades will cut through vegetation up to 1"diameter, and excel at cutting tall grass and wildflowers. For woody material including brambles and first year saplings the Duplex Laser® Scythe is recommended.
The duplex scythe cutter bar comprises two blades which both move from side to side, in opposite directions. This helps to reduce vibration and enables the scythe to cut faster than the standard scythe.
The duplex cutter bar has self adjusting spring-loaded tensioners which means less adjustment and maintenance than with the standard scythe, and riveted guards on the lower teeth that stop vegetation clogging the cutter bar.

Here's what customer David King, a Countryside Ranger at Hart District Council, had to say about the Buck Rake:
"I used our new buck rake last week and was impressed by how well it worked.
I used the reciprocating bar to cut the hay, left it to dry for a couple of days, then I rowed it up with the hay rake and used the buck rake to make piles to load the trailer easier. The raking took about an hour and creating the piles from the rows took about 30 minutes.
Working on my own I took away 3 large compressed trailer loads in about 3 hours. I was really impressed with the effectiveness of the buck rake."

BCS Precision Depth Roller
Fitment:
26” Rotavator | 32” Rotavator
The BCS Precision Depth Roller is the perfect tool for landscapers preparing ground prior to reseeding and turfing. It is available in two sizes to fit either the 66cm (26") rotavator or the 80cm (32") rotavator attachments.
The full-width roller can precisely adjust the rotavator's digging depth from 12mm to 178mm, and as the rotavator digs, the roller will gently compact the soil surface to leave a ready-to-plant seedbed.
This is a cost effective addition to the rotavator attachment and it allows for precise control of the rotavating depth.
This means that shallow rotavating can be undertaken without bringing deep dormant weeds to the surface. However, if deeper rotavating is required then the roller can simply be raised to the maximum height so the tines can dig deeper.

The cutting height on the 100cm model is easily adjustable via a simple lever on top of the deck, ranging from 50mm to 130mm (2" to 5").
Designed for durability, the mower features heat-treated steel gears running in an oil bath, ensuring a long lifespan. Its twin cutting blades deliver an excellent cut, even on wet grass, while the swing tip blades enhance the finish for a neater appearance, and avoid damage from stones.
For optimal performance, the mower deck pivots with the power unit to follow ground contours and reduce scalping. Additionally, the mower is equipped with swivelling front castor wheels for effortless manoeuvrability.

The Rotavator is a fantastic tool which combines a proven blade design with a high rotor speed to produce a fine tilth in even the most demanding conditions. It is available in 5 different widths, from 46cm (18”) to 85cm (34”).
A high rotor speed and a proven blade design will produce a fine seed bed finish and prepare perfect ground for growing. The digging speed can be controlled via the throttle for varying ground conditions, use a slower speed for breaking up the earth and then a faster speed to produce a finer tilth. The digging depth is easily adjusted via the lever on top of the box.
The stability of the machine combined with large wheels, ensures that there is little or no downward pressure on the handlebars required. The centre knife breaks up the middle ground ensuring the entire width is rotavated and the heavy-duty J-shaped blades help to prevent formation of a hard pan.
For safety, the rotavator will not operate (spin) whilst the machine is in reverse. An optional transport wheel is available which slots into the back of the rotavator to make moving the machine around site easier.
